Tomato Gravy Curry for Biryani Without Onion and Garlic.........but...........Spicy
Ingredients:
- Tomatoes --- 5 medium size
- Poppy seeds --- 2 tablespoons
- Cashew nuts --- 2 tablespoons
- Sambar Powder --- 4 tablespoons
- Coriander powder --- 2 tablespoons
- Turmeric --- 1/4 teaspoon
- Red chili powder --- 2 tablespoons
- Salt --- to taste
- Oil or Ghee --- 1 tablespoon
- Cumin seeds --- 1 tablespoon(optional)
Preparation:
- Roast Poppy seeds in a pan.
- Make smooth paste of Tomatoes, Roasted Poppy seeds and Cashew nuts.
- Now take a pan ,put it on medium flame and pour oil or Ghee.
- While oil is heating add cumin seeds and Turmeric.
- Now add the tomato puree you prepared.
- While stirring it add Sambar powder,Red chili powder, Coriander powder and Salt.
- Keep it on medium flame and cook it till the raw taste of tomatoes goesoff.
Serve it Hot with any Rice /chapatti/Naan.
