Gunta Ponganalu (South Indian Breakfast)
Hi bloggers today I am coming with simple breakfast "Gunta Ponganalu".This is South India's famous breakfast and most favorite breakfast in my home.My Grandma used to prepare this for me. For this you should have special Ponganalu Pan(like below).
With the help of that pan you can prepare the ponganalu. When ever I used to prepare dosa ,I always prepare Ponganalu first ,because for this ponagnalu no need to keep the batter till it becomes little sour like Dosa.So you can prepare Ponganalu just after you grind the batter, and you can use this batter for dosa next day.
Ingredients:
Rice ---2 cupsUrad dal --- 1 cup
Methi seeds--- 1/2 teaspoon
Salt --- 1/4 teaspoon
Cooking soda(Baiking powder)--pinch

Oil
Tip: By adding Methi seeds Ponganalu will be roasted ,smooth and don't stick to the pan.
