Potlakaya Perugu Pachadi(Snake Gourd Yogurt Chutney)
Ingredients:

Snake Gourd |
- Potlakaya(snake gourd) --1
- Yogurt -- 2 cups
- Ginger Garlic paste --1 tsp
- Green Chillies -- 3 or to taste
- Salt -- to taste
- Turmeric Powder -- 1/4 tsp
- Oil -- 2 tbsp
- Mustard Seeds -- 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Seeds -- 1/2 tsp
- Urad Dal -- 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida(Hing) -- a pinch
- Curry Leaves
- Coriander
Preparation:
- Wash and Chop the snake gourd into small round pieces and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Add Greeen Chili ,urad dal
and Ginger Garlic paste and fry till all are fried. Add hing and curry
leaves.
- Add the chopped snake gourd, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well and
cook till the snake gourd is tender but don't overcook. Let it cool.
- Meanwhile, add water to yogurt and beat it well. Add water little by little till you get the desired consistency.
- Now add the fried snake gourd to the curd and give it a good mix. Adjust salt if required.
- Take it into Serving bowl and garnish with Coriander.
Now our Recipe is Ready ............:) Serve with rice.
