Vegetable Lollipop
Ingredients:
Potato --- 2 medium sizeCarrot --- 4
Green Peas --- 1/4 cup
Bread slices --- 8
Coriander powder --- 2 tablespoons
Garam masala powder --- 1/2 tablespoon
Red Chili powder --- 2 tablespoons
Coriander --- some leaves
Salt --- to taste
Oil --- for deep fry
Tooth picks or pop slice sticks or Ice-cream sticks
"Take Bread slices as how many lollipops you want to prepare".
Preparation:
- First boil all vegetables(potato,carrot,green peas) and mash them in a bowl and keep aside.
- Add coriander powder,garam masala,red chili powder ,salt and coriander leaves to the mashed vegetables, and mix it well.
- Take a pan (Kadai) ,keep it on medium flame and pour Oil for deep fry .(If you don't want to deep fry, you can do shallow fry in pan with less oil).
- Make medium size vegetable balls with the mix prepared and keep aside.
- Now take one bead slice, dip it in water and squeeze the water from it .
- put one vegetable ball in the squeezed bread and close it so that stuffing not to come out .
- Now prepare it like a lollipop shape .
- Poke a toothpick or pop slice stick to Lollipop.
- Repeat above three steps for how many lollipops you want.
- Now deep fry all these lollipops in oil until they become golden brown and take them out.
- Serve hot with sauce whatever you wish.
